ConstruirAcier

ConstruirAcier est une association loi 1901 dont l'objectif est de promouvoir l'architecture et la construction métallique. Représentant l'ensemble de la filière acier, elle a vocation à faire connaître les atouts de l'utilisation des aciers auprès des architectes, bureaux d'études, ingénieurs, enseignants, étudiants et dans les ouvrages de construction de bâtiments et de travaux publics.

Le Point

Points est une maison d'édition de poche généraliste (littérature, policier, documents, poésie, thriller, sciences humaines...). 

Aujourd’hui, Points vend près de 4 millions de livres par an. Avec approximativement 300 nouveautés chaque année (environ 250 en Points et 50 en Points thématique) et un catalogue actif de presque 6000 références, c’est un éditeur majeur du marché du poche adulte.

Fondée en 1970 au sein des Éditions du Seuil par Bruno Flamand, la collection de poche Points a d’abord commencé avec un catalogue de sciences humaines uniquement, les Points thématiques.

Parmi les grands noms publiés, on peut citer Jacques Lacan, Claude Mossé, Hannah Arendt, Georges Duby, Saint Augustin, Roland Barthes, Pierre Bourdieu, Michel de Certeau, Confucius, François Dolto, Umberto Eco, Albert Einstein, Frantz Fanon, Sigmund Freud, Jacques Le Goff, Jean-Pierre Luminet, Michel Pastoureau, Robert O. Points Romans est créée en 1980.

Points Policier a vu le jour en 1982 et abrite aujourd’hui des plumes du monde entier, dont celles incontournables d’Henning Mankell, Donna Leon, Arnaldur Indridason, Manuel Vázquez Montalbán, Thierry Jonquet, Michael Connelly, Petros Markaris, Craig Johnson, Valerio Varesi, Ragnar Jonasson, Olivier Truc, Thomas H. Cook, Philip Kerr, Pete Dexter, Dominique Sylvain, Valentin Musso, Alexis Ragougneau, Hannelore Cayre, Eva Dolan, QIU Xiaolong. En 2006 naît Points Thriller, avec des succès comme Les Visages de Jesse Kellerman.

Bois PE édite un certain nombre de livres et documents techniques à destination des professionnels de la construction.

CTHS

Les éditions du CTHS publient depuis 1834 des ouvrages de recherche et d'enseignement supérieur. Elles éditent chaque année une quinzaine de nouveautés. Elles sont diffusées par AFPU-Diffusion et distribuées par la Sodis. Ces ouvrages sont disponibles en librairie et peuvent être directement commandés auprès du CTHS. Ils sont régulièrement présentés lors de salons des livres (les Rendez-vous de l’histoire de Blois, le Festival d’histoire de l’art de Fontainebleau, etc.) et font l’objet de présentations publiques (dans le cadre des cycles de conférences organisés par l’Ecole des chartes par exemple). Les nombreuses co-éditions prouvent la capacité du CTHS à nouer de solides partenariats avec des institutions ou maisons d’édition prestigieuses.

CECM/ECCS/EKS

ECCS is the ONLY organisation which brings together the Steel Industry, the Fabricators and Contracting specialists, and the academic world through an international network of construction representatives, steel producers, and technical centres.

ECCS is a federation of 18 national associations of steel constructors as full members. it gathers also associate and supporting members, and since recently company members. This will help a closer cooperation with upstream and downstream players such as architects, civil engineers and companies related to steel construction to seat around the table for the benefit of the whole industry and to enhance discussions between researchers and the industry.

ECCS is a fully service oriented and not-for-profit-organisation.

ECCS has a long history. It was inaugurated in Zürich in 1955, in parallel with the creation of the European Community for Coal and Steel. The Convention became then the ideal platform for the promotion and research of the European Constructional Steelwork industry and paved the way of the present-day European codes and standards through the creation of Technical Committees of experts.

The passionate history of the European Convention is told in a publication relating the whole history of the Institution itself but also the committees, technical and promotional, which founded today’s codes and also the men and women who, all over their careers and research work, largely contributed to the development of the sector.”
