Les éditions Hermann publient des ouvrages de qualité, écrits par des universitaires ou des intellectuels de renom à destination d’un lectorat aussi large que possible. Soucieuse d’éviter le double écueil de l’érudition trop savante et de la vulgarisation à outrance, la maison accorde toute son importance au traditionnel travail de suivi éditorial : les textes, devant être clairs, didactiques, intelligibles et bien écrits, sont en grande partie retouchés par les éditeurs, que le président de la maison, Arthur Cohen, qualifie de « serviteurs de l’intelligence de l’écrit ».

 

Parisiennes (éditions)

Le groupe EDITIONS PARISIENNES (EDIPA, c’est plus simple !), créé en 1947, est spécialisé dans la publication de revues techniques et la diffusion d’ouvrages techniques de référence dans les domaines du Génie Climatique (chauffage, climatisation, conditionnement d’air), du Froid, de la Plomberie-Sanitaire et des énergies renouvelables. 

L'Atalante

Maison d'édition indépendante, connue et reconnue pour sa prédominance  nationale en science-fiction et fantasy. L'Atalante est de plus en plus une maison généraliste : les essais de "Comme un accordéon" ont trouvé la confiance des libraires et la collection de théâtre dirigée par Serge Valletti est un succès. "Flambant Neuf", proposant des bandes dessinées  de qualité, ainsi que "Le Maedre", la récente collection jeunesse, complètent le programme.  Outre le soin accordé au texte, L'Atalante attache une grande valeur à la qualité de l'objet livre, et fait appel à de nombreux peintres et illustrateurs pour ses couvertures.

CSTB

Le Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment, CSTB, est une entreprise publique à caractère industriel et commercial (EPIC), au service de ses clients et de l’intérêt général.

Il a pour ambition d’imaginer les bâtiments et la ville de demain en accompagnant et sécurisant les projets de construction et de rénovation durable, pour améliorer la qualité de vie de leurs usagers, en anticipant les effets du changement climatique. Il rassemble pour cela des compétences pluridisciplinaires et exerce 5 activités clés : la recherche et expertise, l'évaluation, la certification, les essais et la diffusion des connaissances. Son champ de compétences couvre les produits de construction, les bâtiments et leur intégration dans le quartier et la ville.

CECM/ECCS/EKS

ECCS is the ONLY organisation which brings together the Steel Industry, the Fabricators and Contracting specialists, and the academic world through an international network of construction representatives, steel producers, and technical centres.

ECCS is a federation of 18 national associations of steel constructors as full members. it gathers also associate and supporting members, and since recently company members. This will help a closer cooperation with upstream and downstream players such as architects, civil engineers and companies related to steel construction to seat around the table for the benefit of the whole industry and to enhance discussions between researchers and the industry.

ECCS is a fully service oriented and not-for-profit-organisation.

ECCS has a long history. It was inaugurated in Zürich in 1955, in parallel with the creation of the European Community for Coal and Steel. The Convention became then the ideal platform for the promotion and research of the European Constructional Steelwork industry and paved the way of the present-day European codes and standards through the creation of Technical Committees of experts.

The passionate history of the European Convention is told in a publication relating the whole history of the Institution itself but also the committees, technical and promotional, which founded today’s codes and also the men and women who, all over their careers and research work, largely contributed to the development of the sector.”

Cegibat

Cegibat, le centre d'expertise de GRDF, a pour mission d’informer et d’outiller l’ensemble des professionnels du bâtiment (bureaux d'études, installateurs, architectes, directeurs techniques, responsables de patrimoine, responsables énergie, exploitants…) et de l'industrie sur la réglementation gaz naturel et l’efficacité énergétique.
